What to expect:
Stage 1: Application a) Review program details and the supported job roles. b) Submit application for the role you are qualified for.
Stage 2: Screening a) Applications will be reviewed based details submitted. b) Shortlisted applicants will be assessed to ensure suitability.
Stage 3: Training a) Successful applicants will undergo a 4 week client engagement training. b) Trainees will be assessed to ensure readiness for placement into work opportunities.
Stage 4: Placement a) Successful trainees are matched with suitable opportunities. b) Trainees are onboarded onto work opportunities.
Stage 5: Work support a) Placed workers continue to receive work support to ensure maximum retention. b) Workers receive mentorship on how to grow their portfolio and get optimise their earnings.

No, there is no cost to participate in the Spark Program.
2. How long is the training program?
The program runs for 10 weeks, during which you will engage in intensive learning and hands-on practice.
3. Will I be paid during the training?
No, you will not be paid during the training. However, the participants that complete the training will be placed in work opportunities that you will earn.
4. What happens after I complete the training?
Once you complete the training, you will be placed in client organizations to work.
5. What kind of training will I receive?
Participants will receive training on how to build an effective freelancer portfolio, work with remote clients, manage your work, grow your skill set and boost your income.
6. How will I know if I have been selected for the program?
Selected candidates will be notified via email. Ensure that you provide a valid email address in your application form and check your inbox regularly for updates (also check your junk/spam folder just in case).
7. How is the training delivered?
The training will be delivered online through a mix of live and pre-recorded sessions, interactive workshops, and hands-on projects.
8. Can I apply for more than one specialty/ job role?
We recommend that you apply for the specialty that best matches your skills and career aspirations. Each application is reviewed independently, so focus on the area where you are most qualified.
9. Can I participate in the program if I have a full-time job or other commitments?
To maximise your success we recommend that you commit to the training, placement and work support sessions. This requires being present in those sessions and also doing follow-up practice thereafter.
10. What happens if I am unable to complete the program?
If you are unable to complete the program, please inform us as soon as possible so we can discuss potential solutions or deferment options.
11. Can I reapply if I am not selected this time?
Yes, you can reapply for future cohorts.
12. How will my performance be evaluated during the placement period?
During the placement period, your performance will be evaluated based on your ability to do quality work in a timely manner and collaborate effectively with the client. Regular feedback will be provided to help you improve and succeed.
