Job Summary:

The Social Media Manager will oversee and manage our company’s social media strategy in order to boost visibility and customer engagement. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, creative individual with experience and a passion for connecting with current and future customers. This role is responsible for creating original text and video content, managing posts, responding to followers, and coordinating with marketing and sales teams to support their respective missions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy:
    • - Define the most important social media KPIs
    • - Manage and oversee social media content
    • - Measure the success of every social media campaign
    • - Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
    • - Use social media marketing tools such as Buffer, Hootsuite, etc.
  • Content Creation and Management:
    • - Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily (e.g., original text, photos, videos, news)
    • - Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales, and customer service to ensure brand consistency
    • - Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner, and monitor customer reviews
    • - Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g., Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures, blog layout)
  • Campaign Management:
    • - Develop, launch, and manage new competitions and campaigns that promote your organization and brand
    • - Form key relationships with influencers across the social media platforms
    • - Manage and facilitate social media communities by responding to social media posts and developing discussions
  • Analytics and Reporting:
    • - Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
    • - Provide constructive feedback
    • - Track and analyze analytics reports to gain insight on traffic, demographics, and effectiveness; utilize this information to positively affect future outcomes

Qualifications:

  • - Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist
  • - Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills
  • - Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
  • - Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO, and SEO
  • - Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels
  • - Positive attitude, detail, and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
  • - Fluency in English
  • - Bachelors degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media, or Public Relations are preferable

Preferred Skills:

  • - Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva)
  • - Familiarity with web design and publishing
  • - Additional language proficiency
