Job Summary:
We are seeking a project associate to join our growing company. As a project associate, you will manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure that all deadlines are met. You will also take the lead on projects, delegating tasks, and managing the productivity of your team.
You will be responsible for assigning tasks to the right team members, checking on their progress, and ensuring that each project is completed on time and to the highest standard.
Job Details:
Project management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project plans for the different projects in the business.
- Proactively think about any risks and delays and work with the business leads to have Plan B ready to go.
- Communicate project status to stakeholders and key project participants
Customer relations:
- Assisting in the preparation of client deliverables, such as presentations, reports, and correspondence
- Establish and maintain good relationships with clients
- Actively manage client escalations for activities and issues related to service delivery
Operations management:
- Assist business leads with logistical and any field-based planning and execution
- Develop and enforce quality processes and procedures across the business functions
- Ensure risks & opportunities are identified, analysed, monitored and managed proactively
- Keep the project team focused on the end goal
- Continuously driving performance enhancements on all projects.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification/Professional License:
- Graduate with a Bachelors in IT, Business, Economics
- At least 3 years experience in selling business to business solutions
- Experience in managing projects (preferably having managed at least one IT project)
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience:
- Ability to work independently whether onsite or remotely as part of a distributed team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, research and organisational skills
- Can articulate and relay information in an effective and efficient manner
- High sense of urgency, with the ability to meet deadlines
Computer Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, and internet usage
- Ability to write clear and concise emails
- Ability to create presentations and reports to communicate project status
